What?
grants@ahus.no is a low-threshold service for all researchers seeking external research funding where Ahus is the host institution (applicant institution). The service has been established as a measure to increase success in obtaining external research funds.
Who?
The Grants team consists of researchers and research administrative personnel with extensive research expertise and experience in preparing applications and application processes in general.

Process and deadlines
Anyone submitting project applications to grants@ahus.no must fill out and submit Part 1 of the form "Application Assessment Form – grants@ahus.no" no later than 3 weeks before the relevant application deadline. Part 2 of the form is filled out by the Grants team.

Project applications submitted will be forwarded to the Grants team, and you will receive feedback in the form of a completed evaluation form (Part 2), as well as a project description with comments and/or specific suggestions for changes. There is also the opportunity to submit a revised project application for re-evaluation after revision.

Limitations
The Grants team only assesses applications where Akershus University Hospital is the applicant/host institution. For applications with other applicant/host institutions in HSØ, please refer to grants@ous-hf.no
The Grants team does not assess project applications submitted for internal strategic research funds due to conflict of interest considerations.
The Grants team does not write/design project applications/project protocols on behalf of the project leader but can provide advice and guidance in the process.
